Exciting news everyone! Formula One is back and what better place to pick the season back up again than in Texas. In this article, we are going to be sharing our thoughts and predictions for what is going to unfold at this weekend’s race. So, let’s get right to it…
As we start to see the drivers arrive in the United States of America this week, there has been talks about the build-up to this weekend. Who is going to be performing? What special tricks does the infamous COTA have up their sleeves?
This week’s schedule will unfold as follows:
Thursday:
Press Day- This will involve a series of conferences, interviews, press photo shoots, and more. It’s the first glimpse of the weekend’s activities.
Friday:
Practice One- This first practice will take place at 6pm (UK time)
Team Principles’ Press Conference- This conference will happen at 8:30pm (UK time)
Sprint Qualifying- This first Grand Prix qualifying session will happen at 10pm (UK time)
Saturday:
Sprint Build Up and Sprint- This is going to start from 6pm (UK time) and finish not later than 10pm (UK time) as that is when the qualifying build up will begin.
Qualifying- To determine the grid positions for Sunday’s race, the qualifying session will begin at 11pm (UK time).
Sunday:
Now, as we approach Sunday’s Grand Prix, the build-up will begin at 6:30pm (UK time) and will leave the GP to begin at 8pm (UK time) sharp.
The race on Sunday will roughly end around 10pm, just in time for post-race interviews which will last an hour or two after the race.
It’s going to be good to see our drivers back on the grid after this month-long break. However, it’s going to be strange not having Daniel Ricciardo on track, but who knows what could happen; could he make a special appearance to say farewell at one of his favourite tracks? We will soon find out.
